Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair diesel engines.
- Make major and minor engine repairs.
- Run diagnostics on a vehicle.
- Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Correcting vehicle deficiencies.
- Making adjustments and alignments.
- Occasional service calls
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience working on light to medium duty diesel trucks required.
- Cummins, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford or General Motors experience preferred.
- Capable of running diagnostics on a vehicle.
- Some maintenance experience preferred.
- Desire for growth.
- Clean driving record.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Skills, adeptness, and speed in the use of fingers, hands and/or limbs on repetitive operation of mechanical or electrical repair shop machines and tools.
- Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing in excess of 60 pounds.
- Move, load or unload material and parts for trucks and trailers.
- Push and maneuver heavy objects using carts, dollies, or dumpsters weighing up to 150 pounds.
- Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, battery acids, and exhaust fumes while in the shop work area
- Working within a service garage setting. Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations. Heavy phone usage, talking with customers. Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, and exhaust fumes.

Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, Some Saturdays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $53.00 per hour
The technician is paid Flat rate after a 90-day learning curve of how the shop operates.
