Responsibilities and Essential Functions
· Perform diagnostics and repair on medium and heavy-duty diesel engines.
· Utilizing electronic diagnostic toolsand computer software to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of heavy-dutytruck engines, braking, electrical, cooling, and exhaust systems.
· Perform repairs on the variouscomponents which may include transmission, suspension, and other systems.
· Perform regular maintenance andrepairs on heavy-duty trucks.
· Coordinate parts orders with the parts department.
· Complete online training courses.
· Perform other duties asassigned by the supervisor.
Experience
· 3+ years of previous heavy-dutymechanical experience minimum.
· Proficiency in diagnosing and repairingheavy-duty trucks.
· Ability to work independently or in ateam.
· Ability to make decisions promptly.
· Mastery of English speaking and writing skills required.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Desire for a long-term career with a growing shop.
· Ability to read a wiring diagram.
Minimum Qualifications
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
· Excellent reading and writing skills
· Ability to speak and understand English
CDL a plus

Pay Rate: $27-40 per hour, based on experience
